Police Present 10 Additional Witnesses At Ferdy Sambo's Ethics Session, There's A Name Bharada E Via Zoom
JAKARTA - The National Police presented 10 additional witnesses in the trial of the Police Code of Ethics Commission (KKEP) Inspector General Ferdy Sambo. They are members of the National Police who are also suspected of violating the code of ethics in handling the case of the murder of Brigadier J.
"There are a total of 15 witnesses (plus 10, ed)," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Public Relations Division Kombes Nurul Azizah to reporters, Thursday, August 25.
Of the ten people, there is the name Bharada Richard Eliezer alias Bharada E who will also testify. However, he was not presented directly.
According to Nurul, Bharada E will testify online. However, the reason behind it is not explained. "RE (Bhadara Richard Eliezer, ed) is here via zoom," said Nurul.
Previously, in the ethical trial process for Ferdy Sambo, the Police would present five witnesses.
They include former Karopaminal Brigadier General Hendra Kurniawan, former Karoprovos Brigadier General Benny Ali, and former South Jakarta Metro Police Chief Kombes Budhi Herdi.
Then, former Kaden A Paminal Bureau Kombes Agus Nurpatria and former Head of the Gakkum Roprovost Divpropam Kombes Susanto.
The Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, said that the presence of the witnesses was aimed at exploring the role of Ferdy Sambo in the murder case of Brigadier J.
Thus, legal construction will be formed and can be considered in making decisions or verdicts.
"Yes, to explore the role of Inspector General FS regarding the criminal events in Duren Tiga," said Dedi.
