Suspect Anthon Merdiansyah Denies There Was A Request For Tuition Fees For Former West Java BPK Head Agus Khotib To Ade Yasin

BANDUNG - The alleged BPK auditor, Anthon Merdiansyah, denied that there was a request for money for tuition fees for the former Head of the West Java Representative BPK, Agus Khotib, to the defendant, the inactive Bogor Regent, Ade Yasin.

As the person in charge of the West Java BPK RI examination team in the Bogor Regency Government, he admitted that he had never asked for money either from Ade Yasin or the defendant Ihsan Ayatullah as the Head of Subid for Kasda BPKAD Bogor Regency.

"Regarding school, I never told him that Mr. Kalan (Agus Khotib) needed money. I never spoke to Ihsan," said Anthon while witnessing the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) in the alleged bribery case at the Bandung Corruption Court, Antara, Wednesday. , August 24.

Anthon claimed to have met with Ade Yasin in October 2021, but it was not related to the alleged unqualified opinion (WTP) conditioning.

The reason is, even though he is in charge, Anthon does not have the authority to condition the audit report (LHP) on local government financial reports (LKPD).

"No authority. (All examiners) do not," said Anthon to the panel of judges chaired by Hara Kartiningsih.

Meanwhile, another witness, the BPK auditor, Hendra Nur Rahmatullah Kartiwa, said that he had received Rp70 million from Ihsan which was said to be Agus Khotib's tuition fee. However, according to Hendra, the money was for his personal needs and the operations of the BPK team.

"I used Rp70 million, Rp20 million for personal use, Rp50 million for operations," said Hendra, who is Anthon's subordinate.

Previously, the Prosecutor of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) presented four suspected BPK RI auditors for the West Java Representative as witnesses in the trial of the inactive Bogor Regent Ade Yasin at the Bandung Corruption Court, Wednesday.

The four auditors of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) are Anthon Merdiansyah (Technical Controller), Arko Mulawan (Chairman of the Bogor Regency AdInterim Team), Hendra Nur Rahmatullah Kartiwa (Examiner), and Gerri Ginanjar Trie Rahmatullah (Examiner).

The four were examined as witnesses for the four defendants, namely the inactive Regent Ade Yasin, Head of Subid Kasda BPKAD Ihsan Ayatullah, Secretary of the PUPR Service Adam Maulana, and PPK of the PUPR Service Rizki Tufik Hidayat.
