JAKARTA - The motive behind the murder of Brigadier Yosua Hutabarat or Brigadier J has not yet been revealed. National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo reasoned that a special team was still investigating.
According to the National Police Chief, the motive for the killing of Brigadier J was only obtained by the National Police team from the information of the suspect, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo
"Regarding this motive, we have temporarily received information from brother FS," said Sigit during a working meeting with Commission III of the DPR, Wednesday, August 24.
At present, Inspector General Ferdy Sambo only mentions that the premeditated murder was because Brigadier J had hurt the dignity of his family.
But the National Police Chief did not immediately believe the confession of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo. Because, the special team (timsus) formed will continue to explore this matter.
Timsus will examine Putri Candrawati, wife of Ferdy Sambo and the suspect in the murder of Brigadier J.
"But we also want to make sure once again to check Mrs. PC, so that later we can get it. Especially when she is a suspect whether she changes or not," he said.
In this way, a common thread and the real motive behind the premeditated murder of Brigadier J.
"That way we can get one objection regarding this matter," said General Sigit.
In the case of Brigadier J, the special police team named five suspects, namely Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, Bharada Richard Eliezer, Brigadier Ricky Rizal, and Strong Maruf and Putri Candrawathi.
They were charged with Article 340 subsidiary Article 338 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) and Article 56 of the Criminal Code.
