"The plan is to (examine the suspect) today," said the head of the Attorney General's Office for Legal Information (Kapuspenkum) Ketut Sumedana when confirmed in Jakarta, Wednesday.
According to Ketut, the examination of Surya Darmadi as a suspect has been scheduled after his health condition has recovered after being sent to the Adhyaksa General Hospital (RSU) on Thursday, August 18.
This examination is a follow-up examination after Surya Darmadi, the boss of Duta Polma Group, underwent his initial examination as a suspect on Monday 15 August.
The examination lasted half a day because his health condition declined after landing from Taiwan at Tangerang's Cengkareng Airport.
A follow-up examination is scheduled for Thursday 18 August. On that day Surya Darmadi was rushed to the hospital due to chest pain.
After undergoing treatment at the Adhyaksa General Hospital, on Tuesday, August 23, the doctor stated that Surya Darmadi was fit to undergo detention and returned to the Salemba Branch of the Attorney General's Detention Center.
Meanwhile, in the development of this case, Ketut said that investigators had also confiscated 32 assets of suspect Surya Darmadi, of which 18 assets were in Jakarta, 12 assets were in Riau, and two assets were in Bali.
"Lastly, we confiscated a hotel in Bali. Currently, the team has also tracked the suspect's assets in West Kalimantan, Central Kalimantan, Jambi, and in Batam," he said.
The assets seized were in the form of oil palm plantations, buildings, barges, and hotels. Currently, investigators are still verifying the value of the confiscated assets while focusing on pursuing other assets owned by the suspect Surya Darmadi.
"There is information that there are assets to be confiscated, helicopters also want to be confiscated," he said.
The founder of PT Duta Palma Group was named a suspect in the alleged corruption case of 37,095 hectares of oil palm land in Indragiri Hulu Regency, Riau Province together with Raja Thamsir Rachman as Indragiri Hulu Regent for the 1999-2008 period.
Previously, Juniver Girsang, Surya Darmadi's lawyer, said that his client had a heart disease and his health had deteriorated after landing in Indonesia from a Taiwan flight.
