Bengkulu Earthquake Magnitude 6.5

BENGKULU - An earthquake with a magnitude (M) of 6.5 rocked the Bengkulu area.

This earthquake occurred at 21.31 WIB, according to information from the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG), Tuesday, August 23.

The epicenter of the earthquake was 64 km southwest of Kaur, Bengkulu, the location was at 5.22 degrees south latitude and 102.95 degrees east longitude with a depth of 12 kilometers.

There has been no report on the impact of this Bengkulu earthquake.
