Completing Military Service, INFINITE's L Promises To Look Different
JAKARTA - Kim Myung-soo or known as L from the K-pop idol group INFINITE has finally finished his military service. He enlisted in the Marine Corps on February 22, 2021 and has completed his mandatory military service.
L shared a message to fans via his Instagram page, Monday, August 22, promising to return with a different appearance as the new version of himself, Part 2.
“While experiencing and learning many new things, I spent my time in the Marines in good health. Thanks to everyone who waited. Part 2 begins," he wrote as quoted from Soompi, Tuesday, August 23.
L also uploaded a photo featuring a certificate of appreciation while serving in the navy as well as a letter he received from his comrades in the military.
Fans were also enthusiastic about welcoming L's return. They hoped to get L's new appearance soon.
"Welcome home," wrote the netizen.
"Welcome back Myung Soo. Thank you for your hard work. I will wait for your future work and will always support you," wrote another netizen.
Kim Myung-soo debuted in June 2010 under the name L in the group INFINITE. Despite leaving the Woollim Entertainment agency in August 2019, he is still a member of the group.
L previously starred in dramas Royal Secret Agent, Meow, the Secret Boy, Angel's Last Mission: Love, and more. He also released his first solo single “Memory” before his military enlistment.
