Dittipidsiber Hunts For Hoax Video Spreaders Piles Of Dollars In Many Suitcases Called To Have Ferdy Sambo

JAKARTA - Circulating videos on social media showing piles of dollar bills with a nominal value of Rp900 billion. The money is said to have been -- in the narrative that was distributed -- found at the house of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo.

In the video footage uploaded to the Twitter account @Miss_warawiri, more than six suitcases containing dollar bills can be seen. The silver suitcase was in a fairly narrow room.

The Head of the Public Relations Division of the Police, Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, who confirmed the video, denied it. From the results of a search carried out by a special team (timsus) of the National Police at Ferdy Sambo's house, no piles of money were found.

"That's not true, it's a hoax," said Dedi when confirmed, Tuesday, August 23.

According to Dedi, the appearance of the video that is not true will be investigated. Including, the narrator and the actual truth of the video.

"A deep cyber cybercriminal," said Dedi.

Inspector General Ferdy Sambo is one of five suspects in the premeditated murder case against Brigadier J.

Then, four other suspects, namely, Bharada Richard Eliezer, Bripka Ricky Rizal, Strong Maruf, and Chandrawathi or the wife of Ferdy Sambo.

They were charged with Article 340 subsidiary Article 338 of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 55 paragraph (1) and Article 56 of the Criminal Code.

Then, the National Police has also examined 83 personnel related to the case of Brigadier J's murder. There were 35 members who were recommended to be placed in the Special Forces.

As for the members who have been placed in patus totaling 16 people. 10 of them are at the Provos Polri and the rest are at the Brimbo Headquarters, Kelapa Dua, Depok.
