For this final season, Vanguard will ditch the down-to-earth World War 2 setting to bring back Call of Duty antagonists from different eras for the Hero vs. Criminal.
The criminals are the charismatic Raul Menendez, the cruel Khaled Al-Asad, the brainwashed Gabriel T. Rorke, and the merciless He “Seraph” Zhen-Zhen.
Additionally, Season 5 of Last Stand will include new battle passes to levels for Vanguard and Warzone, five new weapons will also be added, and the roadmap will also confirm the previously leaked Call of Duty collaboration with Netflix's Umbrella Academy.
In Warzone, the developer will shift focus away from the smaller map for this final season, and re-illuminate the Caldera with volcanic activity on the island.
Additionally, Activision has announced a "Call of Duty Next" event, which will reveal Modern Warfare 2 multiplayer and discuss details for Warzone 2 and Warzone Mobile.
