Soaring 60.61 Percent, Taspen Life's Net Profit Reaches IDR 35.44 Billion In Six Months This Year
JAKARTA - PT Asuransi Jiwa Taspen (Taspen Life) posted a profit of IDR 35.44 billion in the first semester of 2022. The record grew by 60.61 percent, when compared to the same period in the previous year.
Taspen Life President Director Ibnu Hasyim said, Taspen Life managed to survive the COVID-19 pandemic and again gave the best performance in serving participants throughout Indonesia. "This is reflected in the company's profit achievement, which is also proof that the company is in a healthy condition," he said in a statement quoted by Antara, Monday, August 22.
He explained that the company's soundness level was also reflected in the Risk- based Capital (RBC) ratio in the first semester of 2022 of 169.99 percent, which is above the minimum required limit of 120 percent.
Taspen Life, he continued, will continue to optimize the company's revenue in line with the increasing activity and economy of the community.
"These efforts include innovating and optimizing both in terms of business processes, insurance products, and marketing aimed at increasing market share," said Ibnu.
