Regarding The Alleged Flow Of Illicit Funds Inspector General Ferdy Sambo, IPW Chair And Mahfud MD Ready To Explain To The DPR MKD

JAKARTA - Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs Mahfud MD and Indonesian Police Watch (IPW) Chair Sugeng Teguh Santosa are scheduled to comply with a summons from the House of Representatives' Honorary Court (MKD) to provide information regarding the case of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo on Thursday, August 25. IPW confirmed that it would be present at the invitation of the DPR MKD this week to provide an explanation regarding the alleged disbursement of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo's funds flowing to the DPR.

"I will be here to provide information," said IPW Chair Sugeng when contacted, Monday, August 22.

Sugeng said that IPW respects the MKD as a member of the board so that it is committed to attending the summons.

"We must respect the MKD as a tool for the DPR RI," he said. Previously, Mahfud MD had already stated his readiness to attend the invitation of the DPR MKD.

"I will attend," said Mahfud, Sunday, August 21.

Mahfud admitted that he was waiting to be invited. He stated that he would explain and convey what was known to the MKD DPR.

"I was really looking forward to being invited," he said. Deputy Chairperson of the DPR MKD Habiburokhman hopes that the two figures will be present to provide information from the information he has received. "We hope that the two figures are willing to attend and provide information," Habiburokhman told reporters, Friday, August 19.

The IPW chairman will be questioned about his confession when he received information regarding the flow of funds to members of the DPR in the case of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo. Meanwhile, the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs related information on the involvement of DPR members in the case of Inspector General Ferdy Sambo.

"We invited Pak Sugeng regarding the news that he had said that he received information about the flow of funds to members of the DPR related to the Ferdy Sambo case," said Habiburokhman.
