COVID-19 Update As Of November 19: New Cases Of 4,798 Out Of 47,630 Specimens Screened
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) releases the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 today. Of the total 47,630 specimens examined, 4,798 new cases of COVID-19 were added.
"Meanwhile, the accumulated number of COVID-19 cases in Indonesia has reached 483,518," the Ministry of Health was quoted as saying, Thursday, November 19.
For recovered cases, currently the number has reached 4,265 people with a total accumulation of 406,612. Meanwhile, the number of COVID-19 patients who died was 97 people, so the total accumulation reached 15,600.
Regarding the positivity rate in Indonesia, it is currently at 14 percent. However, this figure is still higher than the World Health Organization (WHO) standard of 5 percent.
Furthermore, the Ministry of Health also explained the number of additional COVID-19 cases in the regions. There are five provinces that today recorded the highest number of additional cases, namely DKI Jakarta with 1,185 cases, Riau with 688 cases, Central Java with 444 cases, East Java with 425 cases, and West Java with 394 cases.
Even so, based on this data, there are a number of provinces that did not record any additional cases, namely East Nusa Tenggara, North Kalimantan, Gorontalo and Papua.
Meanwhile, the province with the highest number of recovered patients was Riau with a total of 1,002 cases. Followed by DKI Jakarta with 886 cases, West Java with 440 cases, West Sumatra with 400 cases, and Central Java with 333 cases.
"Provinces that do not report the number of recovered patients are Banten, Aceh, Bangka Belitung, Central Kalimantan, East Nusa Tenggara, Gorontalo and Papua," the data explained.
The number of suspects currently reaches 63,546 people and currently 505 districts / cities from 34 provinces have COVID-19 cases.
