Police Distribute Mobile Numbers To Residents To Report Gambling Practices

JAKARTA - The Nagan Raya Resort Police (Polres) and Aceh Regional Police are now actively distributing brochures containing the phone numbers of a number of criminal investigators (Reskrim), as an effort to eradicate online gambling in every village.

"The distribution of these phone numbers is to make it easier for the public to report any indications of gambling in every village," said Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the Nagan Raya Police, Aceh, AKP Machfud, following the Antara news, Sunday, August 21.

He explained that the practice of online or online gambling that is currently happening in the area is very disturbing to the community, so the police continue to try to eradicate it.

The distribution of telephone numbers through each of these banners and brochures is expected to increase public awareness to report any acts of gambling or law violations that occur in the community.

In addition, police officers in Nagan Raya are also aggressively conducting legal socialization to the public, especially against online gambling crimes, so that it is hoped that public behavior can avoid any violations of criminal law.

"The eradication of online gambling is also a follow-up to the direction of the National Police Chief," AKP Machfud added.

He also said that the Nagan Raya Police continued to try to eradicate any online gambling practices in the community, and take firm action against anyone involved in the case, he said.
