JAKARTA - In the #SerunyaIndonesia Festival held by TikTok to celebrate the excitement of the 77th Indonesian Independence Day, the beautiful designer Christie Basil enlivened the event by displaying a collection of her designed dresses.
Christie Basil took more than 77 TikTok creators as models on the stage of the #SerunyaIndonesia Festival which was held on Friday, August 19 in Jakarta.
His collaboration with more than 77 creators has succeeded in breaking the Indonesian World Record Museum (MURI) record for "Clothing Show with Most Creators".
In terms of design, Christie uses a satin fabric with neutral colors such as nude which is adapted to TikTok colors and the characteristics of her own brand, Atvezzo.
"So we input colors from TikTok, such as blue, pink, white, and black," said Christie to the media crew at The Tribrata Darmawangsa, Jakarta.
In addition, the beautiful designer also revealed the difficulty in making the design and the colors came because they had to adapt to the characteristics of TikTok and the brand, coupled with the feel of independence.
"Because it involves many creators, the design must also be adapted to TikTok and related to independence. Continue to be adjusted to their size (creators), and the styling is also adjusted," he said.
However, Christie managed to convey the important points she wanted to convey through her masterpiece which was displayed by 77 content creators in the #SerunyaIndonesia festival fashion show.
"The messages we want to convey are from the creators themselves, which we take from various different industries," added Christie.
“The message for content creators in the fashion industry, just start making content, because the opportunity is very wide to be able to develop faster. They can create what type of content they do, which is suitable for the market and according to the brand. Start exploring, and start researching," said Christie.
According to him, TikTok is a platform where everyone can spread content widely without a target audience. "So everyone can have the same opportunity in any industry," he said.
