JAKARTA – The parking attendant who was troubling residents in Cipete, South Cilandak was finally arrested by the police. The man with the initials W was previously reported to have injured a motorcyclist. Pushed the victim's child and attacked him until he fell off the motorcycle.
After an initial examination, it turned out that W was a person with a mental disorder (ODGJ). He often attacks people who pass in front of him when he has a relapse and it is considered dangerous.
"Implementing evacuation activities 44 (ODGJ). The person concerned is considered to be troubling the residents because when he has a relapse he often acts," said Cilandak Police Chief Kompol Multazam when confirmed, Friday, August 18.
Multazam said that when W was arrested, he did not fight against the officers. Now the parking attendant has been taken to Duren Sawit Hospital, East Jakarta.
"At the time of the evacuation, the person concerned did not put up any resistance and was successfully taken in a Social Service car and taken to Duren Sawit," he said.
The head of the South Jakarta Social Sub-department, Bernard Tambunan, said the same thing when the troublesome parking attendant had been secured.
Furthermore, he revealed that W had been referred to RSKD Duren Sawit, East Jakarta for further action.
"After coordinating with the family, for the time being the person concerned is accompanied by the local RT, he refers to the Duren Sawit RSKD first to get medical treatment," he concluded.
