Wonder Woman 1984 Shows In Theaters And HBO Max

JAKARTA - The production house of Warner Bros. announced that Wonder Woman 1984 will hit theaters and HBO Max on the same day, December 25, 2020.

Previously, production houses had begun considering cinema viewing or streaming as cinema chains in Europe and the United States closed down again.

"As we navigate a situation we've never experienced, we become innovative with our business going on to provide super service to our fans," said CEO of WarnerMedia Studios, Ann Sarnoff quoted from Variety today, November 19.

The screening of Wonder Woman 1984 continued to be postponed even when the production house decided to show the film at Christmas, many have doubted Wonder Woman 1984's success in theaters.

"We appreciate the audience eagerly awaiting Wonder Woman 1984. We are grateful we were able to make such an entertaining film in the midst of this situation," said Toby Emmerich, chairman of Warner Bros. Pictures Group.

Wonder Woman director Patty Jenkins also expressed the decision to broadcast Wonder Woman 1984.
