Ex-Lawyer Bharada E Sues Rp15 Trillion, Police: Just Please, No Problem
JAKARTA - The National Police does not care about the Rp15 trillion fee payment lawsuit filed by Bharada E's former lawyer, Deolipa Yumara, following the unilateral revocation of power of attorney in assisting the premeditated murder case against Brigadier J.
The Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, said that the legal steps taken by Deolipa were the rights of all Indonesians.
"Yes, we'll just have to wait. People are calling for the rights of all citizens," said Dedi to reporters, Thursday, August 18.
The two-star general did not mind the lawsuit that was filed. The police actually welcome the lawsuit and will deal with it. "Please just file a lawsuit. There's no problem," said Dedi.
Deolipa Yumara previously sued the National Police Chief, General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, to the Police Criminal Investigation Department to the South Jakarta Court. The lawsuit resulted in the unilateral revocation of power in assisting the premeditated murder case against Brigadier J.
The lawsuit is contained in case number 753/Pdt.G/2022/PN Jaksel. Then, in the lawsuit there are at least three defendants.
The plan, the first trial of the lawsuit will be held on Wednesday, September 7th.
"Richard Eliezer Pudihang Lumiu, Ronny Berty Talpesy, National Police Chief cq Kabareskrim Polri Headquarters as defendants," said South Jakarta District Court Public Relations Officer, Haruno.
