Starring Omar Daniel And Nadya Arina, Khilma Anis' Popular Novel Adapted Into The Film Hati Suhita
JAKARTA - Success in novel format, Hati Suhita's story will be adapted in wide screen format. The production house Starvision Plus presents the latest film from the work of Ning Khilma Anis.
Hati Suhita tells of Alina Suhita who is married to Gus Birru, an heir to the Al-Anwar Islamic boarding school. However, after getting married, Gus Birru never touched Suhita because he liked another woman, Ratna Rengganis.
Today, Thursday, August 18th, Starvision announced the cast of the film Hati Suhita. They are Nadya Arina (Alina Suhita), Omar Daniel (Gus Birru), and Ratna Rengganis (Anggika Bolsterli).
“The novel Hati Suhita is indeed phenomenal and has a religious content but is a reposition of women in Islamic boarding schools. Of course, this provides universal enlightenment," said Chand Parwez as a producer in Central Jakarta.
"This film is important because it teaches the toughness of a woman who is treated less well than her husband," said Archie Hekagery as director.
Not just a love story, Hati Suhita also presents a story with a cultural background. The players explained that the Muslim-centric story can still be enjoyed by all people.
“I think the novel is impactful. Even though the setting is a pesantren, this novel can be enjoyed. There are so many realistic conflicts and not many stories like this," said Nadya Arina.
“It is an honor for me to play Gus Birru. I have heard this story for a long time in 2019. Previously, I read it on the FaceBook link when I got an offer, oh okay, "said Omar Daniel.
Khilma Anis as the writer entrusted the cast and novel chosen by Starvision Plus. According to him, Suhita's heart is in the right hands with all the adjustments.
“Novels are another thing, films are something else. As a mother, I can only take him to the industry and think positively that what Starvision provides is the best,” explained Khilma Anis.
Apart from the three, Hati Suhita is also played by Ibrahim Risyad, Desy Ratnasari, Slamet Rahardjo, Widyawati Sophiaan, Wafda Saifan, Devina Aureel, Tutus Thomson, Tanta Ginting, and others.
Directed by Archie Hekagery, Hati Suhita will start production this month and shoot in several cities. These include Bogor, Jakarta, Trenggaleng, Salatiga, Kediri, and Yogyakarta.
