This Is What KGPAA Mangkunegara X Said, Who Was Appointed As Commissioner Of PT KAI

SOLO - Kanjeng Gusti Pangeran Adipati Arya (KGPAA) Mangkunegara X responded to news related to his appointment as commissioner of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) by the Ministry of SOEs.

"Thank you to the Minister of SOEs and the ranks for the trust and trust given to me," he said in Solo, as reported by ANTARA, Wednesday, August 17.

He said he was ready to support various strategic programs carried out by PT KAI (Persero).

"As a Commissioner of PT KAI, I am ready to contribute to the success of PT KAI's strategic programs," he said.

In connection with the appointment, he also asked for support from the community so that they can be trusted in carrying out their duties. He hopes that as part of the BUMN, KAI can be closer to the community, including the younger generation.

"Hopefully KAI can be closer to the community and the younger generation as the best transportation ecosystem solution for Indonesia," he said.

Previously, the appointment from the Ministry of SOEs to KGPAA Mangkunegara X as Commissioner of PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) was based on the Decree of the Minister of State-Owned Enterprises Number SK-173/MBU/08/2022 and SK-174/MBU/08/2022 dated August 15 2022 concerning the Dismissal and Appointment of Members of the Board of Commissioners of the Company (Persero) PT Kereta Api Indonesia.

Meanwhile, the proximity of Pura Mangkunegara with KAI has been going on for a long time. Even at that time KGPAA Mangkunegara IV initiated the construction of Solobalapan Station and Purwosari Station.

These two stations were established on the land of the Mangkunegaran Temple. The Solobalapan Station was also revitalized by Mangkunegara VII with the help of renowned architect Thomas Karsten.
