Tourist From South Korea Who Disappeared While Snorkeling In Nusa Penida Was Found Dead Stranded On The Reef

KLUNGKUNG - The SAR team finally found a South Korean citizen with the initials YK (32) who went missing while snorkeling in Nusa Penida, Klungkung Regency, Bali. The South Korean tourist was found dead.

"YK's body was stranded on a reef and immediately lifted to the boat," said Head of the Denpasar Search and Rescue Office (Basarnas) Bali Gede Darmada, Wednesday, August 17.

The victim was found in the waters of Broken Beach, Klungkung or 150 meters from the initial location of the victim's disappearance.

According to the request of the family, the body of the South Korean citizen was evacuated to the Sanglah Central General Hospital (RSUP), Denpasar, Bali.

"His body was then taken to Sanglah via Padangbai Harbor, Klungkung," he said.

Previously, 2 South Korean citizens went missing while snorkeling on Tuesday, August 16 in the afternoon. One woman with the initials JL managed to save herself on the cliffs of Broken Beach.
