Full Of Social Messages, Marshanda And Marthino Lio Compete In Acting Through Fat Movies Who's Afraid?!

JAKARTA - In the midst of the proliferation of horror films, director Pritagita Arianegara chose to return with a romantic comedy titled Fat Who's Afraid?!

Today, Tuesday, August 16th, Spectrum Film has released the first trailer for the film Fat Who is Afraid. This film stars Marshanda, Marthino Lio, Wafda Saifan Lubis, Cut Mini, Omara Esteghlal, and many others.

Gendut Who's Afraid to tell Moza (Marshanda) a romance novel writer who is demanded by his mother to get married quickly. Moza himself hopes to have a partner like a prince even though he feels he has a less than ideal body.

He finds the prince in Dafian Jatmiko (Marthino Lio), a successful director who wants to adapt Moza's novel. On the other hand, Moza has Nareswara Radeva (Wafda Saifan Lubis), the little friend he hates the most.

“I am very happy to be a part of this film, especially after reading the synopsis and screenplay. This is a story that makes us happy and has a different body positivity,” said Marshanda in South Jakarta.

“I feel safe. Starting from the director, DOP, all make up are FFI (Indonesian Film Festival) holders. Wow, in good hands. This time, it's shooting without drama," said Marthino Lio.

Wafda who plays Nares considers this film as a form of charity. From the message to the concept of the story, Wafda really enjoyed the process.

“When the film was offered, it raised body positivity, okay. There's no reason for me to refuse. When you were at school, you watched Caca (as Marshanda is called) and now you're shooting together, how can you refuse?" said Wafda laughing.

“When we talk about Fat Who's Afraid, it's fun because I already want to work with Prita. I have a desire that I have to play directly directed by Prita,” said Cut Mini, who admitted that she did not refuse when this offer came to her.

The trailer is colorful but has a very relevant social message in today's era. Fat Who's Afraid?! trying to present the story in widescreen format.

“This film is social criticism because we are often made to like one side. This film is crazy because it explains love for no reason later Moza and anyone will understand that love is as pure as that,” said Omara Esteghlal.

“Usually I make heavy films but this is a film that entertains and has meaning. This impression is a pleasant collaboration, there is no drama," said Celerina Judisari as producer.
