Sandiaga Uno Asks SMEs To Intensively Go Digital
JAKARTA - Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno asked for digitization for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises or MSMEs. This strategy is expected to reach a wider range of consumers.
At least 27 participants of the Indonesian Creative Appreciation (AKI) were encouraged by Sandiaga Uno. The intended encouragement is to increase the added value of creative economy products.
Especially those generated through digital promotions so that they are maximized. According to Sandiaga Uno, digital promotion is important to encourage economic revival through wide opening of business opportunities and employment opportunities.
“The expectations spread by the 27 AKI participants are extraordinary, they penetrate their imaginations to produce the best products. Earlier there was our little sister, Raya, whose products were successful in generating added value. We also encourage participants to adapt to digitalization or market their products digitally," said Sandiaga in an official statement, quoted Tuesday, August 16.
For the record, AKI is one of the flagship programs of the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy (Kemenparekraf) which in its implementation targets 16 districts or cities in Indonesia.
This event is an effective promotion vehicle for the economy in Indonesia. It is hoped that the Indonesian economy, which had weakened due to the COVID-19 pandemic, could improve again.
