Arifin Achmad Riau Hospital Team Picks Up Children Suffering From Rare Skin Diseases
PEKANBARU - The Arifin Achmad Regional General Hospital (RSUD) team in Riau Province picked up a child OS (9) resident of Jalan Harapan Jaya, Marpoyan Damai District, Pekanbaru, who was suffering from a rare skin disease for treatment.
A rare skin disease infection experienced by OS is characterized by several parts of his body experiencing lumps and oozing pus until his condition is getting worse.
"We received reports from residents that there was an elementary school child in Tenayan Raya, Pekanbaru City, who was sick whose condition was alarming. Based on this report, I ordered the staff to immediately see the condition of the child and be given treatment," said Director of the Riau Provincial Hospital, drg Wan Fajriatul, as quoted by Antara. BETWEEN, Tuesday, August 16th.
He said the child's condition was concerning because there were several swellings that had turned into pus in parts of his body, such as the thighs, head and chest.
According to him there was an infection that caused swelling in the child's body. The condition is that the child does not have health insurance because he was taken to the health center and advised to be treated.
"However, because there is no health insurance or the child has not been registered as a JKN-KIS participant, the child is left alone at home," he said.
Due to this condition, Wan Fajriatul ordered his staff to take the child by ambulance to the Arifin Achmad Riau Hospital so that the swelling in the child's body was quickly treated.
The child has been treated at the Pediatric and Oncology Polyclinic for immediate action by a doctor.
As for the problem of financing children at the Arifin Achmad Hospital, said Wan Fajriatul, his party has coordinated with the Riau Health Office so that the child can receive health insurance so that the child's medical costs can be financed by the government.
