Puan Maharani Alludes To ASN: Attitudes To Justify Ordinary Things Must Be Abandoned
JAKARTA - The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Puan Maharani, reminded the state civil apparatus (ASN) to abandon the attitude of justifying ordinary things. This is a form of bureaucratic reform that must be carried out.
"State civil servants must leave the usual attitude of justifying and start with a new spirit of getting used to the right," said Puan in a speech at the Joint Session of the DPR RI and DPD RI today, Tuesday, August 16.
This spirit, continued Puan, must be carried out by 3.9 million ASN in the country. In this way, Indonesia's progress can be maximized in the future.
"The bureaucratic reform carried out by the state civil apparatus is a strength capital in accelerating Indonesia's progress," he said.
Puan said Indonesia's development must be jointly discussed by all parties. This step is important to determine the direction of the nation.
Physical development and national character are expected to run simultaneously for the welfare of the community.
"We need to consult together to determine the direction of the development of the Indonesian nation and state in the future which can be a reference for all stakeholders," said Puan.
"The direction and priorities of future national development agendas require an adequate legal basis to be implemented by every government so that physical development and national character can be sustainable in achieving national goals," he concluded.
