TNI AD Cyber Team Handles Indian Cyber Mafia Hacked Site
JAKARTA - Head of the Army Information Service (Kadispenad) Brigadier General Tatang Subarna said that the TNI AD cyber team had handled the official website of the Army Strategic Reserve Commander (Kostrad) which was hacked by the Indian Cyber Mafia group.
"Kostrad's official website, namely www.kostrad.mil.id, has been hacked by a group on behalf of the Indian Cyber Mafia. This case has been followed up by the cyber team and the site has been temporarily shut down," said Tatang in a statement from the Dispenad reported by ANTARA, Monday, August 15th.
Even though it was hacked, said Tatang, the data on the Kostrad official website is still safe. The hack has an impact on the web interface changing and the site being inaccessible.
"So far the data is safe, but the front screen has changed and cannot be accessed," said Tatang.
Before being handled or followed up by the TNI AD cyber team, the Kostrad's official website displayed several posts, such as "INDIAN CYBER MAFIA WAS HERE", "HACKED BY. INDIAN CYBER MAFIA", and "Y0U G0T H4CKED :)".
However, based on recent monitoring, the screen of the site when accessed displays the TNI AD logo and the words "Indonesian National Army Army" and "WEBSITE UNDER MAINTENANCE".
