Commission III Of The DPR To Summon The Police, Komnas HAM And LPSK: We Want To Know The Motives And End Of The Story Of The Death Of Brigadier J
JAKARTA - Commission III of the House of Representatives plans to summon the National Police, Komnas HAM and LPSK to inquire regarding the case of the premeditated murder of Brigadier Nopryansah Yosua Hutabarat or Brigadier J at the shelter of the former Head of the National Police Propam Division Inspector General Ferdy Sambo on July 8.
In the shooting case that killed Brigadier J, the police named four suspects, namely Bharada Richard Eliezer or Bharada E, Bharada Ricky Rizal or Bharada RR, Inspector General of Police Ferdy Sambo, and Kuwat.
Deputy Chairman of Commission III of the DPR Adies Kadir said the summons process would be carried out after the DPR recess. Meanwhile, the DPR will open a session period which will be preceded by a joint session tomorrow, Tuesday, August 16.
"Yes, that's the plan, on Thursday, August 18, Commission III has a plenary meeting regarding the approval of meeting schedules," said Adies Kadir when confirmed, Monday, August 15.
The head of the legal commission said that his party would immediately arrange an agenda to visit partners and ask for various inputs needed, especially prominent cases that attracted public attention, such as the case of the death of Brigadier J.
"We want to know how to solve the case, including how to prepare the budget together with our partners," said Adies.
The secretary of the Golkar Party faction emphasized that Commission III of the DPR RI continues to monitor the development of the case by communicating with the National Police Headquarters.
"We continue to monitor this case and we will immediately ask for information from a number of parties regarding the latest information and what really happened in this case. We continue to communicate intensively with the National Police Headquarters to monitor the development of this case," said Adies.
Therefore, the Golkar legislator for the East Java electoral district said that his party was waiting for the results of the work of the Special Team for the National Police Headquarters, which had worked some time ago. Adies revealed that a number of members of Commission III of the DPR RI had prepared a list of questions from the public.
“We want to hear directly from the parties handling this case. Because we see in the media, the handling of this case is very transparent and very fast and accountable," he said.
This, Adies continued, can be seen from the steps taken by the National Police Chief Listyo Sigit Prabowo to deactivate Ferdy Sambo, then proceed as a quick determination as a suspect.
"So, we see that the National Police Chief is working very well, we in Commission III of the DPR really appreciate the National Police Chief, Mr. Listyo Sigit Prabowo," continued Adies.
Adies also claimed to want to know the real motive of the case. Because he said, there have been many questions from the public about the motives and the like regarding the case of Brigadier J's death.
“We, as representatives of the people, also want to know more deeply and want to hear directly the developments of this case. And what is the motive, and how will the end of the story of this case be," said Adies.
