Reflecting On Last Season, Allegri Asked Juventus To Show A Positive Performance Against Sassuolo

JAKARTA - Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri asked his team to put on a positive performance against Sassuolo in the first week of Serie A at Juventus Stadium, Turin, Monday night local time.

Quoted by Antara from the club's official website, Monday, Allegri explained that the inaugural match in the first week of the competition always makes them curious and they must remain vigilant.

"Sassuolo beat us at home last season, so we have to put in a positive performance. Tickets are sold out so we are full of enthusiasm. The three points are important," said Allegri.

The Italian coach explained that Juventus had three important friendly matches against Barcelona, Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.

Although their last match did not go as expected, it made them have an obligation to increase their awareness, including against Sassuolo.

"We have to keep our heads down and work. The important thing is to win the game. Our approach has to be right. With Atletico Madrid we didn't win a single tackle, and the players know this. Juventus are obliged to aim for the win," said Allegri.

Allegri hopes Juventus can put on a good performance in the first four matches of the Italian League and it starts with facing Sassuolo who have just lost in the Italian Cup.

"We are all under surveillance, me, the players, everyone, but what we need to do is win the football game, that's our goal and that's what we're going to do. Tomorrow we have to perform as Juventus knows," explained Allegri.
