Diplo Denies Stalking And Recording A Woman's Sexual Activity

JAKARTA - Today, Wednesday, November 17th, Diplo has denied any claims made by a woman from Los Angeles. This statement was announced by Diplo's lawyer, Bryan Freedman through an official statement.

Last month, a woman wrote several tweets on Twitter saying Diplo was doing something and recruiting a private investigator to reach out to him.

“The private investigator stated that he knew my address, he knew my parents' address, he knew where I worked and where my parents worked. It may sound normal but some people think it is a threat, "said the woman quoted from The Daily Beast on the same day.

In addition, this woman also claimed that 42-year-old Diplo was filming sexual activities without his permission.

“I asked him specifically not to do that and he said 'Fuck it. I recorded this, "the woman continued.

After writing some of the tweets, a Twitter user replied to the tweet with a photo of the woman wearing no clothes. Therefore, the woman requested a restraining order from the authorities because Diplo was judged to be distributing her personal content so that other women would not speak out.

"Together with this client, we went through a complicated examination process and I can say that she (the female client) is very credible," said the victim's lawyer, Lisa Bloom.

Bryan Freedman as a lawyer for Diplo denied all the claims made by the woman. "My client has not broken any rules. In fact, he has made it clear over and over again that he does not want to do anything with this person," he said as quoted by the Rolling Stones.

The detention order hearing will take place on December 7, 2020.
