Erik Ten Hag Gets Code Red, Manchester United Players Can't Get A Day Off

JAKARTA - Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag received a danger signal after swallowing two defeats in the initial match of the English Premier League 2022/2023.

After losing to Brighton and Hove Albion in the inaugural match, the club nicknamed the Red Devils again lost when they traveled to Brentford headquarters. Worse yet, they gave up with a landslide score of 0-4!

Ten Hag immediately reacted. He canceled holidays for his players after the defeat.

Manchester United players are required to come to additional training at Carrington. The exercise took place a day after the defeat to Brentford, according to SunSport.

Ten Hag was furious after the defeat to Brentford. According to him, all elements of the team must be responsible for these results.

"It's shocking when you start a game like this. After 35 minutes we have conceded four goals. This is impossible. This team has to take responsibility," said Ten Hag after the game.

"I apologize to the fans who have done everything to support us, we have let them down."

Ten Hag then did not want to blame just one player for this defeat. He focused more on the performance of the team which he judged was not in line with expectations.

"I've asked them to play with confidence and take responsibility for their performance, and that's what we didn't do," said the former Ajax Amsterdam coach.

The Manchester United boss then insisted, "The manager is also responsible, he is the most responsible, and I accept it. I will fix it."
