Mode Between Packages, Men In Jakut Desperately Holds Sangkur In ART's Neck 'Shut Up, Don't Talk Too Much'

JAKARTA - A man with the initials AWS (42) was arrested by the police after pointing a sharp weapon at Household Assistant (ART) Siti Suminar (37) at the Mayor's Complex, Jalan Gelatik, Cilincing, North Jakarta.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Cilincing Police, AKP Alex Chandra, said the incident occurred on Friday, August 12, at 10.30 WIB.

The incident began with the perpetrators arriving with the alibi of delivering packages while the victim was at work. AWS had asked the owner of the house named Lusi who is also the former brother-in-law of the perpetrator.

The victim said her employer was not at home. After that the victim brought in the package, then the perpetrator went into the house.

"The perpetrator immediately entered the house and immediately pointed a sharp weapon of the type of bayonet, the position of the bayonet had been removed from the sheath. Using the perpetrator's right hand towards the victim's neck," Alex said when confirmed, Sunday, August 14.

When it happened, the perpetrator had threatened the victim not to talk much. But at that time the victim screamed and was heard by the witness who is the son of the owner of the house.

"Then the perpetrator threatened the victim by saying 'shut up, don't talk too much', then the victim screamed for help from the witness, after that the perpetrator pushed the victim to the ground," he said.

Hearing the screams, the witness then came out of his room. The perpetrator who saw the witness immediately pointed his gun back at the witness. The witness and victim immediately shouted at the perpetrator.

Then the victim kicked the perpetrator and made the gun fall, causing the perpetrator to run away. Luckily, the residents immediately came and secured the perpetrators at the crime scene.

"After that, the victim and witness shouted at the perpetrator as a 'thief thief'. Then the victim kicked the perpetrator's thigh so that the bayonet type sharp weapon fell, and the perpetrator fled, hearing the screams of the victim and witness 1, residents helped the victim and witness 1," he explained.

Now the perpetrators and the evidence have been secured at the Cilincing Police Station. The perpetrator must account for his actions under the suspicion of Article 2 paragraph (1) of the Emergency Law Number 12 of 1951 and Article 335 paragraph 1 of the 1st Criminal Code.
