Applying Link & Match, Food Station Collaborates With IPB To Work On Sustainable Agricultural Technology Development

JAKARTA - PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya as a Regional Owned Enterprise (BUMD) of DKI Jakarta Province and the Bogor Agricultural Institute (IPB) have agreed to cooperate in the form of a memorandum of understanding in the fields of education, research, community service, and the application of innovation. The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding was carried out in the Rector's Meeting Room 1, IPB Campus Rectorate Building, Darmaga Bogor, Saturday, August 13.

The President Director of PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya, Pamrihadi Wiraryo signed this agreement with the Chancellor of IPB, Prof. Dr. Arif Satria, SP, M.Sc. witnessed by Prof. Dr. Ir. Ujang Sumarwan, M.Sc - Dean of the Faculty of Human Ecology, Bogor Agricultural University, Prof. Dr. Ir. Suryo Wiyono, M.Sc.Agr - Acting Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Bogor Agricultural University, Dr. Ir. Syarifah Iis Aisyah, M.Sc.Agr - Director of Cooperation and Alumni Relations of Bogor Agricultural University and Representative of the Head of BP BUMD DKI Jakarta Province, Thomas, M.Sc.

This collaboration is a fundamental effort in collaborative scientific research and education as well as the transfer of knowledge and technology to address the complex issues of sustainable agriculture.

“This cooperation is a reflection of the realization or implementation of Link and Match between the two parties. In essence, both parties desire to build a strong and effective cooperation. In addition, this collaboration is also to ensure maximum harmony and synergy between the two parties towards the target of strengthening education, science and technology," said Pamrihadi in his official statement.

Pamrihadi said, this Memorandum of Understanding is a legal umbrella which is the first step of collaboration between Food Station and IPB in the context of realizing the Tridarma of Higher Education.

Furthermore, as a follow-up and realization of the Memorandum of Understanding. In principle, both parties will immediately sign a Cooperation Agreement with the Faculty of Human Ecology, IPB to prepare a Feasibility Study related to the assessment of consumption patterns, energy and nutrient adequacy levels for beneficiaries of the DKI Jakarta Cheap Food Program as well as recommendations for improvement and improvement of the DKI Jakarta Cheap Food Program. According to him, Food Station as a DKI Jakarta BUMD which is one of the instruments extended by the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government in implementing programs related to community welfare, through this collaboration hopes to contribute more significantly in carrying out assignments from the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government.
