Coming To A Friend's Rental, Restaurant Employees Are Even Stabbed 6 Times While Sitting On The Terrace

TANGERANG - Balaraja Polresta Tangerang Police have arrested a man with the initials BM (25) a resident of Malingping Subdistrict, Lebak Regency for stabbing his co-worker with scissors.

Balaraja Police Chief Kompol Yudha Hermawan confirmed the stabbing incident. Yudha said the incident occurred on Wednesday, August 10.

"It is true that a BM man, a resident of Malingping Subdistrict, Lebak Regency, has been arrested for stabbing his co-worker with scissors," said Yudha in a written statement, Friday, August 12.

Yudha said as a result of the incident, the victim suffered several injuries to his body.

"As a result of the stabs carried out by the suspect, the victim suffered injuries to the neck, head and back," said Yudha.

Yudha explained the chronology of the stabbing carried out by the suspect to the victim.

"The victim with the initials MP (23), a resident of Sukmulya Village, visited the suspect's rented house in Kedaung Village, Balaraja District on Wednesday (10 August). The victim's intention was to invite the suspect to go to work together, because the victim and the suspect were co-workers at a restaurant in Balaraja. When the victim arrived, the suspect shouted at the victim because he was considered to be looking at her cynically, the suspect then entered the rented house and then came out carrying scissors and immediately stabbed the victim 6 times who was sitting in front of the suspect's rented house," said Yudha.

Yudha also explained that when the incident occurred several people who were in the vicinity of the incident immediately intervened.

“Some people who were in the vicinity of the incident immediately intervened. One of the residents also secured the scissors that the suspect used to stab. Meanwhile, the victim immediately left the location to make a report to the Balaraja Police, "explained Yudha.

After receiving reports from residents, Balaraja Police personnel immediately went to the location and arrested the perpetrators.

"After receiving the report, the officers went directly to the location and immediately secured the suspect along with evidence of scissors," said Yudha.

Yudha said the motive for the stabbing was to be angry with the victim.

"To the officers, the suspect was desperate to stab him because he had been angry with the victim for a long time. According to the suspect's statement, the anger was triggered because according to the suspect the victim often challenged him to a fight. In addition, the suspect and the victim are often involved in verbal fights at work," added Yudha.

Yudha explained that the suspect was detained at the Balaraja Police.

"For his actions, the suspect was detained at the Balaraja Police and subjected to Article 351 of the Criminal Code, which is threatened with a sentence of 5 years in prison," concluded Yudha.
