Anies Has Been Clarified By The Police About Rizieq's Event, But The West Java Police Has Not Investigated The Crowd In Megamendung
JAKARTA - The National Police has started a series of investigations into alleged violations of health protocols related to crowds at the Rizieq Shihab event.
One of them is about the marriage of Syarifah Najwa Shihab who is the daughter of the Grand Imam of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) Rizieq Shihab. This case has been handled by Polda Metro Jaya.
In handling the case, a team of investigators from the Sub-Directorate for State Security (Kamneg) examined DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan and several other elements of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government.
"Currently, the clarification check is being carried out. The governor, the mayor of Central Jakarta, the head of law (Pemprov DKI), the Head of KUA Tanah Abang, the Head of Tanah Abang Sub-District, RT, RW, Kasatpol PP, and Babinkamtbimas," said the Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Yusri Yunus to reporters, Tuesday, November 17.
But if you refer to Rizieq's activities, which caused crowds also occurred in the Megamendung area, Bogor, West Java.
At that time, Rizieq attended a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of the pesantren. His arrival attracted the attention of the public, but many did not apply health protocols by not wearing masks.
But the issue that was said to be a factor in the removal of the West Java Police Chief, Inspector General Rudy Sufahriadi, has not been followed up.
West Java Regional Police Head of Public Relations, Kombes Erdi Adrimulan Chaniago, said there is no plan to investigate the West Java Regional Government (Pemda) regarding this matter.
"There has been no confirmation. Later, if anyone is informed," he said.
