12 Students In Cengkareng Caught Bringing Sickles, The Reason Is To Protect Yourself Afraid Of Being Attacked By Opponents
JAKARTA - A total of 12 students in Cengkareng, West Jakarta, were arrested for carrying sharp weapons. They carry sickles as weapons for brawls by other schools.
"12 students have been named as suspects because they were proven to be carrying weapons," said Cengkareng Police Chief Kompol Ardhie Demastyo, Friday, August 12.
Ardhie explained that the 12 students identified by the suspect were MF, BAT, KDA, ID, DSA, AM, RKP, RA, YP, FBI, YN and GMR. Meanwhile, five of the students tested positive for marijuana.
"5 people tested positive (drugs), 7 others were negative," said Ardhie.
Furthermore, the Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Cengkareng Police, AKP Ali Barokah, said that the students admitted to carrying sharp weapons to protect themselves.
"Because previously their confession was attacked by other groups," said Ali.
However, Ali has not been able to reveal details regarding the arrests of the students. Currently, it is still conducting further investigation and development.
