I'm Well! Starting January 1, 2023, The Transportation Fee For PKH Companion In East Kotawaringin Is Rp. 1 Million
KOTAWARINGIN - The government of East Kotawaringin Regency, Central Kalimantan, has added transportation assistance for the assistance of the Family Hope Program (PKH).
"We will increase our transportation assistance by 100 percent from IDR 500 thousand to IDR 1 million starting January 1, 2023. Hopefully this will help PKH companions to work more optimally," said East Kotawaringin Regent Halikinnor in Sampit quoted from Antara, Thursday. , August 11th.
A total of 41 PKH assistants and District Social Welfare Workers (TKSK) attended the event entitled Regent's Morning Coffee with PKH assistants throughout Kotawaringin Timur in the regent's office hall.
Also present were Deputy Regent Irawati, Head of Social Service Wiyono and other officials. The activity was filled with breakfast together, followed by a discussion to hear the aspirations of the PKH facilitators regarding the obstacles they face in carrying out their duties.
There are 41 PKH assistants who work in 17 sub-districts in East Kotawaringin. Each sub-district consists of one to three PKH assistants depending on the number of PKH who will receive assistance.
"The presence of PKH facilitators is very important in helping the recipient community. For this reason, the local government helps PKH and TKSK facilitators to have convenience in carrying out their duties," said Halikinnor.
In addition to additional financial assistance for transportation, the regional government is also considering the proposal for assistance in the procurement of laptops and motorcycles for operations. In addition to considering the capacity of the budget, local governments will also review the regulations.
"For the laptop assistance, we will first see the budget capacity because it is large. For the motorcycle proposal, we will first examine whether it is allowed in the rules or what," he said.
Halikinnor also asked PKH facilitators to help local governments in other matters besides distributing aid. PKH facilitators are expected to help socialize forest and land fire prevention to the community.
"Regarding the data collection of aid recipients, I ask you not to miss it. It is our sin if there are people who are entitled to receive assistance but are not registered," said Halikinnor.
The co-ordinator of the East Kotawaringin PKH, Andriyadi, expressed his gratitude for the attention and assistance of the local government. The breadth and severity of the terrain make PKH facilitators have to work hard so they need support in carrying out their duties.
"For the assistance of dirt bikes according to terrain conditions, if possible, prioritize areas with heavy terrain such as in Antang Kalang, Mentaya Hulu, Hanaut Island and Bukit Santuai and others," said Andriyadi.
