Twice Canceled Meeting Jake Paul, Tommy Fury Mocked By Logan: The Right Decision, He Was Afraid Of An Embarrassing KO!
JAKARTA - Boxer who is also a YouTuber, Logan Paul said Tommy Fury made the right decision by withdrawing from the fight against his brother, Jake Paul. He judged that Tommy would be embarrassed if he continued to accept Jake's offer.
Fury has twice withdrawn from the scheduled fight with Jake. The first was because of the reason he suffered a broken rib during training, while the second was due to visa problems to enter the United States.
The two reasons were doubted by the Paul brothers when discussing them on the Impaulsive podcast. Logan considered Fury's decision to resign because he avoided the potential for a knockout (KO) embarrassing.
"I told you before you fought with Tommy, I knew his temper was not clear. The first time he withdrew from your fight, it seemed to me an indication of an unclear temper," said Logan to his brother.
"And the second time when you said you wanted to fight him, I was happy with that. I loved the fight, but that guy had no fighting intent in him."
"Regardless of whether it's a valid reason or not, and the fact that it did happen and obviously it's a shame. He tarnished Fury's name. I think he made the right decision," added Logan.
Tommy Fury has a very impressive fighting record. The brother of boxer Tyson Fury has gone through eight fights without swallowing a single defeat with four wins of which were obtained by knockout.
Jake Paul is then scheduled to face Hasim Rahman Jr as a substitute for Fury on August 6 at Madison Square Garden. However, disagreements between the two boxers led to their event being canceled one week before the D-Day.
