Goodbye Amber Heard, Johnny Depp Returns To Acting As King Louis XV Released
JAKARTA - Johnny Depp is confirmed to return to acting after the defamation case sued by Amber Heard was decided. The production house Why Not Productions released a teaser image of Depp in his new character.
Johnny Depp will play King Louis XV in Maïwenn's latest film, Jeanne du Barry.
The film is inspired by the life of Jeanne du Barry, King Louis XV's last mistress after Madame de Pompadour.

The figure of Jeanne du Barry is a woman who is willing to climb the social ladder to change her social status. She works as an assistant and falls in love with King Louis XV and their life becomes a scandal.
The first photos of Johnny Depp as King Louis XV were released today, Thursday, August 11. Depp wears a King outfit with blond hair and a full feather headdress. He is also seen wearing a black eye patch.
According to Deadline's report, Depp has started filming since July 26. He will continue shooting for 11 weeks in several cities in France such as Paris and Versailles.
Apart from Depp, the film stars Benjamin Lavernhe, Pierre Richard, Melvil Poupaud, Noémie Lvovsky, Pascal Greggory and India Hair.
Jeanne du Barry is Johnny Depp's first production in three years. Previously he faced a series of trials against his ex-wife, actress Amber Heard.
