Badung Prosecutor Destroys Rp2.1 Billion Of Drug Evidence
BADUNG - The District Attorney's Office (Kejari) of Badung, Bali, destroyed evidence of general and special criminal cases that had been decided from January to June 2022.
The evidence that was destroyed was narcotics of various types with a value of more than Rp. 2 billion.
"The Badung State Prosecutor's Office has destroyed 155 cases of evidence consisting of general crimes and special crimes that have been decided and have permanent legal force from January (until) June 2022," said Head of the Badung Attorney General's Office, Imran Yusuf, Thursday, 11 August.
The destruction of evidence is carried out by destroying it. Evidence of cellphones, electric scales, bongs, sharp weapons and others were destroyed by hitting them with hammers and grinding machines.
Meanwhile, evidence of illegal narcotics and cigarettes will be destroyed by burning.
"For narcotics crime cases, there are 110 cases with a value of evidence of Rp. 2,120,797,000," he added.
Meanwhile, for the narcotics evidence that was destroyed, there were 4,947.73 grams of marijuana, 369.87 grams of synthetic tobacco or gorillas, 74.96 grams of ecstasy, 2.43 grams of hashish, 940.68 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 31.54 grams of MDMB and DMT. 189.04 grams.
Meanwhile, there are 43 cases of crimes against people and property and crimes against state security and public order. Destroyed evidence, sharp weapons, clothing, psychotropic substances, cellphones, documents.
"For a special crime, namely the crime of excise, there were two cases with the destroyed evidence consisting of 200 cigarettes," he said.
