Raising The Matchmaking Of Javanese Nobles In The Modern Era, Royal Blood Is Ready To Be Released August 17th
JAKARTA – Vision+ is ready to release its newest original series entitled Royal Blood. In collaboration with Kantara Creative and directed by Eko Kristianto, Royal Blood will be officially released on August 17, 2022.
Royal Blood tells the story of a noble girl, Anggi, who has the opposite nature to her sister, Saras. In contrast to the obedient Saras, Anggi prefers freedom and likes to sing in a band.
Anggi then falls in love with a man with a very different background from hers. His family did not agree, because they had set Anggi to another man who was also a descendant of nobility.
Royal Blood is played by Shakira Jasmine as Anggi, Tania Qumsoani as Saras, Andri Mashadi as Bhishma, Tubagus Ali as Riza, Wani Dharmawan as Bambang, Maudy Koesnaedi as Gayatri, Virrisya Debora as Nawang, and Tanta Ginting as Indra.
The Royal Blood series is a story that combines Javanese culture and modernity which is interesting to explore. The storyline shows an emotional story, but is also full of moral messages about the development of culture and modernity.
“We are excited to announce to the public that Vision+ originals Royal Blood will be releasing soon. This series has an interesting story, apart from presenting an emotional drama, Royal Blood also shows a traditional perspective in the modern era that may have been seen around us, but we have not fully understood," said Clarissa Tanoesoedibjo as Managing Director of Vision+ met at Gondangdia, Jakarta. Shakira Jasmine admitted that she was enthusiastic about the broadcast of this series. "In this series I was forced to learn Javanese in four days. What I am most worried about is medok or not my Javanese," he said.
Shakira was relieved that the crew called it pretty decent. He hopes that the story of Anggi's courage to express her opinion to her parents can be an inspiration.
"This Anggi is from a Javanese noble family who dares to express what is on his mind," he said.
