This Tattoo Artist Is Obsessed With Vampires, Check Out Her Mysterious Body Art
JAKARTA - A tattoo artist who is obsessed with all things dark and mysterious explains the meaning behind the hundreds of inks stuck to his body.
London (27) from Montréal, Canada, has loved tattoos and body modification since he was 13 years old. She became a makeup artist at the age of 18 before training as a tattoo artist at the age of 20.
London's dark aesthetic hinges on its love of horror and the gruesome.
Speaking to Daily Star Online, London said: “In my appearance I try to reveal an inner obsession with horror movies, demons, vampires and all things sexy and weird. I like to create an aura with a mysterious and dark appearance. "
This young artist has enjoyed the world of vampires since he was very young.
“I really love the vampire aesthetic and the fantastic world that surrounds it!” London explained.
"I don't drink blood, but because I have a very dark side - claiming to be attracted to this kind of practice - I love that it mixes their sexuality and weirdness."
Londoners also love the morphology and aesthetics of vampire clothing. In art, for him, blood is a sign of beauty and creation.
Do not stop there, London also enjoys the history and mythology surrounding vampires.
"If possible, I would be a vampire this time, but for now I quite take their aesthetic."
This tattoo artist also claims to be a "taphophile" - someone who is attracted to grave morbidity, horror movies and all things paranormal.
"I have a great interest in the occult, magic and contact with the outside world," explained London.
"That's my passion - anything gothic, or weird, or scary makes me feel good!"
