Held A Procession To Present Pasha Ungu, The Three Leaders Of The KIB Party Compactly Registered With The KPU This Morning
JAKARTA - The three parties that are members of the United Indonesia Coalition (KIB) are scheduled to jointly register as election participants with the General Elections Commission (KPU) this morning, Wednesday, August 10, at 10.00 WIB. The registration will be led directly by the Chairperson of the National Mandate Party (PAN) Zulkifli Hasan, General Chairperson of the Golkar Party Airlangga Hartarto, and General Chairperson of the United Development Party (PPP). The series of KIB events will start two hours before registration. The procession of the three party leaders is planned to be lively. At 08.00 WIB the participants gathered at Plaza Mandiri, Jl. Imam Bonjol, Jakarta, before starting the march to the KPU building. Then at 08.45 WIB there was a marching band convoy followed by Marawis, and the art of Reog Ponorogo. At 09.25 WIB, there were performances from the capital's artists who were also cadres from PAN, one of which was Pasha Ungu complete with a busker's cart and was greeted by a Papuan dance. At 09.35, the three general chairmen of the party plus 10 millennials in traditional clothes and Enggrang attractions were present at the RI KPU building. Accompanied by 150 cadres from a combination of three parties. At 10.00 WIB KIB namely the Golkar Party, PAN and PPP registered jointly as election participants. "Bang Zulkifli Hasan, Pak Airlangga Hartarto, and Bang Suharso Monoarfa will be present to directly register their respective parties to the KPU RI," said PAN deputy head Viva Yoga Mauladi to reporters, Tuesday, August 9.
Viva emphasized that the joint registration of the United Indonesia Coalition (KIB) to the KPU wanted to show the Indonesian people that the coalition in KIB was a whole-hearted, unified, solid coalition. "Not only for the 2024 presidential election, but will continue until the November 2024 regional election," said Viva.
Viva said that tomorrow's KIB registration will be accompanied by processions and parades to enliven the registration to the KPU RI. "For example, there is music from Pasha Ungu and the capital's artists, marching bands, Nusantara dances, and other entertainment," he said.
According to Viva, the joint list is a momentum to show the public that KIB has completed the 100 percent administrative verification requirements as election participants. "Also declaring that KIB is ready to face the 2024 elections by maintaining the democratic process so that it runs constitutionally and realizing elections that are free, fair and with integrity," Viva concluded.
