Sylvester Stallone Confirms Join The Suicide Squad
JAKARTA - Director James Gunn announced that actor Sylvester Stallone has joined the cast of The Suicide Squad. Gunn shared this announcement via his Instagram account on Sunday, November 15, 2020.

Stallone will join the ensemble of announced players including Idris Elba, Sean Gunn, Alice Braga, John Cena, Peter Capaldi and Pete Davidson. Outside the list, Margot Robbie and Viola Davis are returning to portray characters from the original 2016 version.

This film is Sylvester Stallone's latest project after starring in the film Rambo: Last Blood in 2019. Sylvester Stallone has not announced what role he will play in The Suicide Squad.
James Gunn's The Suicide Squad is a sequel and reboot of the original version which is an adaptation of DC Comics. Gunn himself is known for his expertise in working on ensembles in Guardians of the Galaxy.
The shooting process during the COVID-19 pandemic has been completed and is in the process of post-production.
