Adapting To The Times, Mercedes Benz Holds EV Training Program For All Employees
JAKARTA - German luxury car company, Mercedes-Benz launched an Electric Vehicle (EV) training program for its employees.
The program is meant to energize, as well as educate and electrify Mercedes team members ahead of the launch of its new EV sub-brand.
Mercedes-Benz revealed that the reason for holding this EV training program is because the transition from fuel oil to electric cars has progressed, and it is something new for customers and employees.
To ensure that all team members are on the same page with the same understanding, the German company finally organized the EV training program.
EVs are built completely differently from traditional cars. Instead of hundreds of moving parts, an EV has a single motor. In addition, EVs can be easier and cheaper to maintain.
"The Mercedes EQ experience is a fully immersive learning event designed to keep attendees not only excited about our brand's electric future, but also confidently explaining its benefits and technologies to our customers," Lisa Rosenfield, GM of Mercedes-Benz academy, was quoted as saying by Electrek. .
Mercedes will be holding a three-day EV training program in Alabama, where Alabama recently opened a battery factory for US-made EV batteries.
On the first day, there was a greeting when the instructor started. Then participants will take part in four interactive sessions to learn about Mercedes-Benz history, technology and the future of the EQ line.
On the following day, participants will participate in hands-on activities about EV building block technology while learning how to handle customers looking for an EQ model.
As for the last day, the program consists of a dynamic EV driving experience to explain the technology that drives Mercedes vehicles.
