BANDUNG - The defendant in the alleged bribery of the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK) auditor, Ihsan Ayatullah, opened his voice during the agenda of examining witnesses at the Corruption Court in Bandung, West Java today.
The Head of Subid Kasda at the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD) admitted that he had withdrawn some money to regional officials in the Bogor Regency Government (Pemkab) because of a request from the BPK RI Representative of West Java.
"I need to say that what I conveyed to the SKPD was the BPK's request," said Ihsan when asked for a response by the Chairperson of the Panel of Judges, Hera Kartiningsih, quoted from Antara, Monday, August 8.
Ihsan is known to raise a lot of funds from regional officials and entrepreneurs.
As stated by the Secretary of BPKAD Andri Hadian that he was asked by Ihsan to take funds from the Regional Revenue Management Agency (Bappenda) worth Rp. 100 million.
Then, another witness, Head of the Sub-Division of Financial Administration for the Secretariat of the Bogor Regency Government, Rully Faturahman, admitted that he gave Ihsan money from the proceeds of borrowing from businessmen and part of personal money.
"Ihsan said, BPK needed money. I was looking for the Rp. 50 million, I borrowed the noble one. The Rp. 10 million was private," said Rully.
Rully was even asked by Ihsan to set up two special accounts to deal with BPK.
"Brother Ihsan called me that the BPK this time asked for cashless. I was asked by Ihsan to make an account. I told my staff to make an account," he explained.
Rully explained that what Ihsan did was not on orders from the inactive Bogor Regent Ade Yasin, because the relationship between the two was not good.
"Honestly, I just said it here. It seems that Ade's relationship is not good, Ihsan's relationship with the Regent's mother. Once we faced each other for other matters. Mother was very angry with Ihsan, fortunately I turned to another conversation, " said Rolly.
According to him, Ihsan even canceled his promotion to the Bogor Regency Government because he did not get the blessing of Ade Yasin.
"Once Ihsan failed to be appointed," said Rully.
