Hotel Booking Up To Room Filled With 2 Women And 1 Man, Teenage Couples Gathering In Ternate Transported By Satpol PP

TERNATE - The Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) of Ternate City, North Maluku (Malut) has again arrested 12 teenagers who were hanging out together in a hotel in the Gamalama area.

Head of Ternate City Police Satpol Fhandy Mahmud said the 12 teenagers were arrested after reports from the public. The personnel then went to one of the hotels in question and asked the hotel receptionist.

"At that time, at around 11.55 WIT, the hotel staff immediately directed them to the room in question for inspection. Indeed, the officers found as many as 12 people," said Fhandy in Ternate, quoted from Antara, Monday, August 8.

He said the 12 teenagers consisted of 6 girls and 6 boys. They were secured in three different rooms, in room number 305 1 woman and 2 men were found, in room 307 3 women and 3 men were found, and in room number 309 2 women and 1 man were found.

They each have the initials DM (22) KY (17) NAT(17) MW (19) PG(15) DI(19) IF(19) NS 18) HST (17) NH(22) JS(17) AM( 17). Fhandy said the 12 teenagers were immediately secured to the Satpol PP Office and recorded and then carried out coaching

After the couples were recorded, they continued with health checks and tracking by the Health Service and DP3A of Ternate City and from the results of the examination, HIV/AIDS was not identified. The teenagers were then handed over to the North Ternate Police for further guidance.

"At 15:35 WIT, the Satpol PP team handed over 12 teenagers to the North Ternate Police for further guidance," said Fhandy.

Fhandy advised that if there were people who knew of similar information, they should immediately report it to the Satpol PP for follow-up.

"People who see or know suspicious activity in their respective neighborhoods should always report to us, because with the help of the community they can help maintain public order in the Ternate City area," he said.
