A Husband Shoots His Wife Because He Wants To Run Away With An Affair, Megawati: Very Ironic

JAKARTA - Chair of the PDI-P (PDIP) Megawati Soekarnoputri alluded to the case of a husband shooting his wife because he wanted to run away with his mistress. He followed this event from television and called it very ironic.

"Yesterday, I liked watching TV, but I forgot. My husband shot his wife because he wanted to run away with his girlfriend," said Megawati at the kick off event for the stunt reduction collaboration and the launch of the book 'Food Recipes for Baduta and Pregnant Women for Generations' Indonesian Gold' today, Monday, August 8th.

"I'm so ironic. Lha ngopo (why, red) (no, red) is divorced waelah wife. Wis ngono," he continued.

Megawati also touched on many other problems in society, such as sexual violence and child murder. The 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia admitted that sometimes he couldn't understand it.

"Sometimes I think what's wrong, ladies and gentlemen, yes," he said.

Megawati also admitted that she was surprised why if there were women who experienced domestic violence (KDRT) they could not fight back. This often makes him anxious because there are actually laws and regulations that can protect housewives.

"Why if our women are in domestic violence, yes, I'm sorry, it can be done by husbands or other people like this," said Megawati.

He then reminded the women without exception to be excited. They must be willing to fight like their predecessors.

The attitude of wanting to fight, continued Megawati, is needed. Moreover, Indonesia wants to give birth to a golden generation in 2045.

"Come on, ladies and gentlemen, wake up. When I sing the Indonesia Raya song, I want to cry. Because there it is always called 'wake up the soul, wake up the body'. It means spirit," he said.

"These women compared to our time, in my opinion, our mothers are great. Because now they don't know why they don't have a fighting attitude again, even though it is needed," concluded Megawati.
