22 Building Requesting Permit For Marriage Reception To DKI Provincial Government
JAKARTA - Head of the Tourism Industry Division of the Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Agency (Disparekraf), Bambang Ismadi, said that currently there are 22 buildings that have applied for permits to hold wedding receptions.
"There are 22 buildings that have proposed to be allowed to hold receptions. The buildings consist of a meeting hall and a hotel," Bambang told reporters, Monday, November 16.
Bambang said, of the 22 hotels that submitted proposals for implementing receptions with health protocols, only 2 hotels had received approval for the reception.
"Of all that, there are 2 hotels that have been reviewed, namely JW Marriot Hotel and Ritz Carlton Hotel. Today the Head of Disparekraf's decision letter has been prepared," he said.
Bambang admitted that actually the protocol review process of each building management proposal did not take long. Normally, the review process until the permit is issued only takes 3 days.
The problem is that there are quite a lot of buildings that apply for permits. Meanwhile, the joint team consisting of several regional work units (SKPD) also have work tasks in their respective fields.
"The joint team is dividing the tasks, reviewing it 3 times a day, not to mention that each SKPD has its own activities. So, we have to match the schedule, we can't do it individually," he said.
The DKI Provincial Government officially allows every building to open wedding reception services during the transitional PSBB period. Previously, the provincial government only allowed the marriage contract without a reception.
Even though it is allowed, each building must apply for a permit to the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government joint team consisting of Disparekraf, Health Service, Communication and Information Office, and several related stakeholders. This party who will assess a place can guarantee the implementation of health protocols or not.
Following are the health protocols when wedding receptions are permitted:
1. Ensure that the building provider provides a metal detector or x-ray to detect items being brought and checks the body temperature of guests using a temperature scanner or thermo-gun.
2. Ensure that all guests who will be present at the reception are in good health and negative COVID-19.
3. Limiting the number of invitations to a maximum of 20 percent of the room capacity and no more than 30 people.
4. If it begins with a wedding, then the marriage contract must be carried out in the most efficient time possible, the prince wears a mask and gloves, make up and the wedding organizer must wear a mask, gloves and face shield This is done to minimize the duration of gathering in the same place so that the risk of being exposed to the coronavirus is running low.
5. It is hoped that food presentation will not be served in a buffet.
6. Provide Hand Sanitizer at the event location such as at the entrance, food collection points and several other strategic places.
7. Each vendor is also required to clean all equipment with disinfectant before use.
8. Must ensure that there are no crowds of guests, there must also be guarantees to maintain a distance and guests who eat a meal do not chat with each other.
9. Invited guests are not allowed to bring children aged under five and seniors 60 years and over, and all guests wear masks.
10. Guests whose body temperature is 37.5 degrees are not allowed to enter the building.
11. Be careful when giving envelopes to guests.

13. Guest chairs are placed apart.
14. The guests who will leave the building are arranged so that they do not have to jostle when they return home after the wedding procession is over.
