Integration Of ASEAN MRT And Transjakarta Stations Worth IDR 55 Billion

JAKARTA - DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan has groundbreaking the integration facility between the Asean MRT Station and the CSW TransJakarta Bus Stop.

This integration work costs PT TransJakarta's regional capital participation (PMD) budget of Rp. 55 billion. Phase one construction starts at the end of January to August, followed by phase two until December 2020.

Anies said that the integration between the two modes of transportation helps residents to continue their journey without having to go up and down stairs many times.

"At the CSW stop, there are 117 stairs equivalent to 7 floors. You can imagine if pregnant women, parents, children under five are invited to climb the 7-story stairs, are carried. Automatically very challenging. With this integrated, it is much more comfortable for everyone," he said Anies at the ASEAN MRT Station, Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, Wednesday, January 22.

Later, in this integration facility there will be a connecting bridge between the MRT and TransJakarta (skybridge), commercial areas such as restaurants and coffee shops, toilets, prayer rooms, disabled access in the form of elevators, and escalator access for the public.

Integrated development plan (Special)

Integration between modes of mass public transportation is made in the form of a chakra, which connects three Transjakarta bus stops, namely the existing CSW-Corridor 13 stop, and two shelters planned to be built in corridor 1 Blok M-Kota, and a Non-BRT stop with an MRT station. .

Continuing, the Managing Director of PT TransJakarta Agung Wicaksono believes there will be a potential to increase the number of passengers after this integration is operated. Therefore, in the future, Agung will also increase the number of TransJakarta fleets in Corridors 1 and 13.

"The addition of our fleet will be carried out day to day in accordance with the operational plan, according to needs. But what is certain is that at this point, if Corridor 13 increases, we will add more," said Agung.

"The second is MR routes that serve the MRT station. In 2020, it can be served by medium sized buses. Currently, they still use buses that are metrotrans, which are low-entry," he added.
