Brad Pitt To Visit South Korea To Promote Bullet Train
JAKARTA - Hollywood actor Brad Pitt will visit South Korea this month to promote his new film "Bullet Train".
The Korea Times on Friday (5/8) reported that Brad Pitt's visit would mark his fourth visit to the country since his first visit in 2011 to promote "Moneyball."
Sony Pictures also announced that Pitt will be visiting with actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson, best known for his roles in films such as "Avengers: Age of Ultron" (2015), "Tenet" (2020) and "The King's Man". If this is Pitt's 4th visit to Korea, this is Taylor-Johnson's first time coming to Korea.
In Seoul, the two will be involved in various promotional activities for the film ahead of its Korean release set for August 24.
"Brad Pitt expressed his intention to visit Korea according to his busy schedule. He will meet with the press and fans on August 19," said an unnamed Sony Pictures official, as reported by Antara.
"Bullet Train" is a film about Ladybug (Pitt), a trained assassin who returns to his job after a short hiatus. Employed by his handler Maria Beetle (Sandra Bullock), he is assigned to collect luggage on a high-speed passenger train in Japan.
But he realizes that the train is full of other elite assassins, including Lemon (Brian Tyree Henry), Tangerine (Taylor-Johnson) and Prince (Joey King), all with interrelated goals.
