10 Cellphones Examined, Komnas HAM Says There Are New Findings About The Shooting Of Brigadier J
JAKARTA - Komnas HAM conveys that there are new findings related to the shooting case of Brigadier Nopryansah Yoshua Hutabarat or Brigadier J which was obtained from cell phone data as a result of the investigation by the Cyber Criminal Investigation Team of the Police.
Beka revealed that the Cyber Police team showed a number of administrative investigation documents related to the investigation of Brigadier J's case. Next, Komnas HAM will analyze a number of raw materials obtained from the Police.
"Komnas HAM has obtained a number of raw materials, so it is the basic material for conversations and so on, which we will analyze further," Beka said at a press conference at Komnas HAM, Central Jakarta (Jakpus), Friday, August 5. Beka explained, During a digital forensic and cyber examination on Friday, August 5, Komnas HAM received information that the cyber team had managed to collect 15 cell phones in the investigation into the death of Brigadier J.
Of the 15 cellphones collected, Beka said, 10 of them have been checked. While the other 5 phones are currently still in the process of being examined by the cyber team.
"So 10 have been examined, 5 are being analyzed or processed," he said.
From the 10 cellphones, Beka added, Komnas HAM received information related to the findings of photos, documents, and conversations. However, he did not explain further who the owners of the 10 cellphones that had been checked were.
"So what we get is related to photos, then documents, contacts, accounts, chat conversations, and other digital findings," said Beka.
