The Directorate General Of Immigration Called Harun Masiku Already In Indonesia
JAKARTA - After evading and naming the former commissioner of the General Election Commission (KPU) Wahyu Setiawan, Harun Masiku has not returned to Indonesia, now the Directorate General of Immigration has stated that the PDI-P candidate has returned to Indonesia. The Directorate General of Immigration said that Harun Masiku had been in the country since January 7, after leaving for Singapore the day before.
The statement regarding Harun's return to Indonesia was conveyed by the Director General of Immigration at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights Ronny F Sompie. He admitted that the immigration authorities only knew that Harun had returned to Indonesia after receiving information based on system deepening, including data held by relevant stakeholders at Soekarno Hatta Airport, Tangerang, Banten.
"HM (Harun Masiku) crossed back into Jakarta using a Batik plane on January 7, 2020," Ronny told reporters when confirmed, Wednesday, January 22.
Based on the latest information, Ronny then asked the Head of the Class 1 Special Immigration Office for Soeta Airport and the Director of Information Systems and Immigration Technology at the Directorate General of Immigration to deepen the delay in entering Harun Masiku crossing data at Terminal 2F Soetta Airport and wait for the results.
He also emphasized that the prevention of Harun from abroad had also been carried out on the orders of the KPK leadership. This request for prevention was only made by the head of the anti-graft agency after hearing the news that the fugitive returned to Indonesia on January 7.
"This has been connected to all Immigration Offices and Immigration Checkpoints throughout Indonesia through a system that is laid out and becomes the backbone of the Directorate General of Immigration in carrying out immigration supervision and services," he explained.
It is known that the suspect in the bribery of the former commissioner of the General Election Commission (KPU) Wahyu Setiawan, Harun Masiku, continues to be the topic of conversation. Because, since being named a suspect on January 8, it is not certain his whereabouts.
Currently, the KPK admits that it has coordinated with the police to assist in the arrest of the fugitive, including entering Harun's name on the Wanted List (DPO).
"Yes, I have (entered the DPO). Not long ago, I didn't know exactly but it was, the important thing was (entered)," said Firli to reporters at the KPK Red and White House, Kuningan Persada, Monday, January 20.
The KPK has appointed former General Election Commission (KPU) commissioner Wahyu Setiawan as a suspect in receiving bribes related to the appointment of members of the Indonesian Parliament for the 2019-2024 period. He was appointed as a recipient of bribes, along with Agustiani Tio Fridelina (ATF) who is a former member of the Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) who are his confidants.
The givers of bribes were Harun Masiku (HAR) who was a candidate from the PDI-P in the 2019 Pileg and Saeful who was called a private party but was suspected of being one of the party's top staff.
In this case, Wahyu is said to have asked for an operational fee of Rp. 900 million to change the results of the KPU plenary regarding PAW members of the DPR RI to replace Nazarudin Kiemas who was a PDIP candidate from the South Sumatra I electoral district who died.
